My AccuCut journey began at CHA in 2008 when I first was introduced to the GrandeMARK die cutting machine. I received the machine and dies for my 40th birthday that year. Little did I know what a creative journey this machine and company would lead me on!
My obsession with AccuCut continues to grow, I own over 250+ dies. One of the wonderful things about AccuCut is that they continually introduce new dies into the market several times every year. You can also have anything you can imagine custom made! And, I have had many custom dies created and there is nothing like seeing your creations come to life!
I opened a stamping and scrapbooking store in May of 2011 called Creative Chaos. I knew that the GrandeMARK machine would be a huge part of my business. I enjoy planning my classes using my dies which allow for quick and easy class preparation. We create custom albums, cookbooks and journals with the many albums and shape dies. My passion is card making with a quilt/sewing theme. I challenge myself to see the dies in different ways to create a new and different look that give my cards a quilt type feel. I look at color trends, quilt patterns, magazines and patterned paper to inspire my card designs. I also enjoy iris folding and my customers love it. I like to take a die and use the negative portion of the die cut and create an iris folding pattern. My favorite dies to use for cards are the convertibles which are perfectly sized for card fronts.
Trends in paper crafting always change, but our love of die cutting will just keep getting stronger. My hobby has become a business. My love of die cuts, paper, stamps and embellishments have become a constant quest to be creative on a daily basis. Thank you AccuCut for making this journey a great one!
