So here is another fabulous die designed by Cheryl Mezzetti to add to her Album Builder series of dies.  Album Builder-Cake is that perfect shape to create celebration projects of all kinds.

Don't you just love all the accent pieces?  Not only can you decorate the cake but you can use them for borders or accents through out your album or on scrapbook pages, cards and so much more.

Use our Kraft Chipboard to really make the layers pop on the cake.

Let the Sneak Peeks Begin!

We have 19 new dies coming our for CHA and I want to show you all of them so bad, but one will have to do for today.  Designed by Cheryl Mezzetti, the Blossoms (3-D) is such a fun way to add dimension to all projects. Plus the simple fact that you can never have too many flowers is reason enough to get this die.

When I use these Blossoms, I like to layer two on top of each other and curl the petals. There are two choices of centers for each size of the Blossoms but those centers can be used as small flowers or little berries on their own. I used the Core'dinations line of paper so that I could sand the edges, but they also look awesome inked or layering two different colors of papers.

Butterflies are Perfect for Spring!

I'm having a little Spring fever. When I think of spring I think flowers, birds, and butterflies.  So what better way to celebrate spring than with Cheryl Mezzetti's Butterfly-Album builder dies. I used Pink Paislee's new line Butterfly Garden.

 

 

 On the cover I used Namplates #13.

Inside the album I used Frames #3 and accent pieces that come with the Butterfly-Album Builder die.

 

So get carried away with these albums for spring and don't forget the Album Builder-Birdhouse Die.  Each one of these dies have multiple accent pieces that can be used on scrapbook pages, cards, and basically all your paper crafting projects.

Happy First Day of Fall!

Happy first day of Fall! I know my kids are already talking about trips to the pumpkin patch and what they want to be for Halloween. So to keep in the spirit of the season I created this jack-o-lantern album which is the Album Builder-Pumpkin die created by Cheryl Mezzetti.

As you can see there are lot's of wonderful cuts that can be utilized on scrapbook pages or in the decorating of windows and home decor items.

 
I used the cover as the base to this album and cut out multiple pumpkins from our black chipboard then covered them with Pink Paislee's Hocus Pocus line of paper for the pages.  To add a different twist I bound it at the bottom.

I used a few of my old favorite and new favorite dies.  Border-Flourish, Photo Corners #1 , Nameplates #13, Frame-Antique, and Frames #2.

 
The 3rd page I used Brackets, Word-Life, and Ribbon Slides. 

So I hope this album has inspired you, and at the very least made you want to visit your local pumpkin patch.  I know there are quite a few of you that have purchased this die and I would love for you to post a link of how you are using this must have die.

Looking for a class to take at CHA?

I can't believe the CHA Summer Show is next week already! We're really looking forward to making the trip to Chicago and seeing all of our customers. If you're headed to the show, make sure you're signed up to make this Flower Album in the Creative Imaginations class taught by Cheryl Mezzetti and Marah Johnson. 

 

This amazing album uses the Album-Petal Flip die (designed by Cheryl), Frames #2 and Circle-5 3/4".

CHA is around the corner!!!

As promised here are a few more sneak peaks of projects you'll see at the show, Booth #531 to be exact. Album Builder-Snowflake is sure to be a hit around the holiday season or for those snowy vacation photos.

 

The possibillities with this die are endless! Use it on scrapbook pages, home decor projects, place the smaller snowflake on the front of cards or bags and boxes. Check out the inside pages.

Since we're in the Holiday spirit, check out this Christmas 12" x 12' page created by Greta Hammond. It's using our newest page background designed by Danelle Johnson.  Flourish 11" is like having 2 or 3 dies in one.  Use the flourishes for accents or use the beautiful 11'' shape matted onto a 12" x 12" piece of paper.

 
I know what your thinking right now, show me more Traci! Well you're in luck, all of our dies and projects are up on our website. But, if you are going to be in Chicago stop by and see them all in person. If a picture is worth a thousand words, a project in person is worth that and 1000 more.

It's maybe 100 degrees here in Fremont, Nebraska, but even that isn't as hot as the sneak peak I'm about to show you! Here are a few new dies for CHA Summer. Take a look at this adorable Pumpkin Album designed by Cheryl Mezzetti.

This is just one of the of the shapes you use to coordinate with the Album Builder-Base.

 

So here is the fabulous project. She also used leaves from the Leaf Album she created for us last year.

 The front inside cover has Frames #2 and more Album Builder insert pages.

Christmas in October

I know right now many of you, including me, are gearing up for a busy Halloween weekend and have costumes, candy, black cats and spiders on the brain. But we all know that Christmas is going to sneak up on us before you know it. I had to show you a few more projects using the new Tree Album from Cheryl Mezzetti. This album has been a big hit among retailers. It makes such a great project for a class or kit.

Here's an album that Traci Armbrust made decorated with snowflake buttons accented in red and white. I love the contrast of the white and red against the green color of the tree.

Here's an inside spread. So adorable. I like how Traci used the Ribbon Border die to create a cool pattern that almost looks like garland on a tree. Other dies used here include Snowflakes #2 and Coasters #1.  

And don't forget! You don't always have to use this tree as an album. Layer the graduated pieces and use it on a wintry scrapbook page like this one. You could also use it to make banners to hang on a mantle or other decorations. The possibilities are endless. 

Other dies used to make this scrapbook page include Nameplates #12, Photo Corners #1 and Layering Stars.
