Our Mix & Match Albums from Creative Cafe have been wildly popular, and our latest, Mix & Match Album #3 is no exception!
This taller format, 5 1/2"w x 10 1/2"h to be exact, includes four different shapes, a tall tag and pages with a scalloped edge, bracket and bracket tab edge. This larger size is great for fitting lots of photos, journaling and embellishments on a page. Plus, it fits perfectly with our new Holiday Trees dies, also from Creative Cafe.
Here's an example of an album cover that uses the jumbo Holiday Trees, the new Layering Stars, the small Joy and small Bird #10 dies. I love how the different edges overlap and add an element of interest.
Here's an album that uses just the tall tag shape. This shape can be used for all sorts of things. It would look great on a scrapbook page or you could even fold in half and make it into a unique note card. Here, on the right page, you can see a portion of our brand new scrapbook page background shape, the 11 3/4" Eyelet Square. It looks so cute as an extra design element.
This album uses the bracket tab page, flipping the page so that the tab alternates from being at the top to being at the bottom.
You can choose from either the "holes" or "no holes" version of this album to allow you to experiment with various binding techniques. You could also use this album horizontally.
And have you seen our brand new July 2009 Supplement & Idea Book online? We have a really cool new format that allows you to flip through the book page by page, making it easy to shop and browse project ideas. Our May 2009 Supplement & Idea Book is also available to view.
We'll be back soon with more new dies and great project ideas!
