Cheryl Mezzetti, a talented designer and also a big AccuCut fan, will be teaching at Scrapbook Mania in Bessemer, Alabama, on August 22-23. You will recognize AccuCut dies in a couple of her classes including Recipes from the Heart. Can you spot the dies?
She used the Bare Elements Sierra Ring Book die to cut out the house shapes to layer on the Bare Elements Ring Book. That save a lot of time instead of having the hand cut around the house pages!
The scalloped frame on the front is from the Frames die. I love how she outlines around the edge to really set it off. Do you see that she has the frame layered on a house she cut using our Clear Plastic Sheets? Very cute, plus it protects the front of the album.
Let's see.... what else? The smoke coming out of the chimney is made using the small Flourishes #2, one of our Creative Cafe dies. And the heart inside the frame is made with one of my favorite dies, Hearts. You get three heart shapes on a die and they are in rectangles and squares so you really get six shapes out of one die. It's a bargain, that's for sure.
And here is one of the inside pages. Anyone else hungry?
More dies! She used the Ribbon Border above the cookies and the Scallops Small #1 Border on the bottom of the page. That scallops die is fun because it just cuts the scallop edge so you can add a scallop edge wherever you want.
If you're in the area, see if you can still get in at Scrapbook Mania. Otherwise, be inspired!
