Thursday's winner and a new giveaway for Friday
Posted by Jen Cramer
Our winner for Thursday's giveaway of a $75 AccuCut gift certificate is Julie, who posted at 4:00 yesterday:
The it shape for fall/winter will be a leafless tree.
Congrats! We'll be in touch to get you your gift certificate. I've heard lots of people talking about trees and branches lately so don't be surprised if you see something in our July release for CHA Summer.
And that brings us to the final giveaway of the week... the new Treat Wrap Bag die (with crease). This die makes a wonderful class project and kits too. The single shape wraps around 4" wide x 6" high treat bags. Here's a Flower Treat Wrap that Traci made. Those Jelly Bellies are making me hungry!
And here's another Heart Treat Bag that I made. To assemble it I filled up my bag with gum drops, rolled the bag down a few times at the top and stapled the clear bag to the inside top of the front flap. Then you wrap the wrapper around the bag and glue the top flap down over the front. You could also use little magnets to hold the top on if you wanted.
If your treats are really heavy and want to tip over you could cut a piece of chipboard to fit inside the bottom and cover it with paper. Putting that inside the bottom would help stabilize it if needed.
To enter the drawing to win this fabulous die, tell me what your favorite AccuCut bag or box die is. Click on the comments link below and post your comment there. You can even include a link to the die if you want or just include the name and why you like it so much. We'll give everyone the weekend to enter... post your comment by the end of day Sunday, May 11, and we'll post the winner on Monday.
PS: To all of the mothers out there, have a happy Mothers Day on Sunday!

My favorite is Bag/Purse #2. I just love that shape and it's very versatile!

OMG it is so hard to choose just one! I love the gable box die- I also love the mini stacking boxes with the scalloped lids. (so nice to have that option!) The bride and tuxedo boxes are so elegant and perfect to change up for different events too. The coolest is the new cupcake box. (for someones birthday it's so fun to give them a card and a cupcake in a gorgeous cupcake box! They are wayyyy impressed by that) I could go on and on- Love this new treat bag wrap- how could I have missed that on the website?

I love the french fry box. It has so many uses and there are the various sizes to pick and fit just about any treat or item.
Of course, there are others that I have that I enjoy. But this one is the current one since it seems to be one of the most popular right now.

This treat bag is my most favorite.
It is so very versatile for all kinds of celebrations: birthdays, holidays or just a “make me smile” treat.
Your sample is just gorgeous.
Thanks for all the opportunities to win this week during National Scrapbooking Day/Week!

I have 2 that are my most popular favor orders:
the cupcake box

the self closing box #1
http://www.accucut.com/BoxSelfClosing_1_3D-p4645c79-path0.html?
both are versatile in size and can be played up or down for all sorts of events!

My favorite box the the Super Giant Self Closing Convertible Box that fits standard large dies to make any themed window in the lid... ...as soon as you make it;)
Out of the ones you already make though, it would have to be Box #14. It only requires glue on one side and can easily be customized with a paper band around the body.

My favorite is the cupcake box..when I send enough for my son's class to school for a special event, the kids were very careful not to get them dirty so they could use them again! So cute!

I fell in love with the cupcake box at CHA. I think you could use it for lots of things not just cupcakes. We have not ordered it yet but it is on our wish list.
Have Mother's Day to y'all.

Customers have used it for wedding favors, treat or candy boxes for Halloween, small Christmas and birthday presents, baby shower favors, and so much more.

I love the mini gable box (Box #14). It is so quick and easy to decorate and the people that receive them think you spent HOURS working on them. They are the perfect size to hold little treats!

I love the cupcake box! You could use this for so much more than just cupcakes! You could use this with the insert for cupcakes, small flowerpots with seeds, etc. or without the insert for candy, jewelry, etc. Love all the possibilites!

Bag-Heart #1 is a cutie

I think the ladybug die #2 is the BEST! It reminds me of my mom. Lady bugs are very beneficial and useful insects to our world....eliminating the creatures in our gardens that will harm our plants.(much like my mom who spent many long hours trying to keep me safe) They are brightly colored making them very cheerful to look at and be around.(just like my mom). Some say that to see a lady bug or have one land on you is good luck. (I have been very lucky to have "my" mom...HAPPY MOTHERS DAY..MOM) So buy the lady bug die and include it in cards, letters, birthday/christmas packaging, or "just because" notes.IT IS MY FAVORITE!
